David Finnigan: David is a writer, theatre-maker and festival producer based in Canberra. Since 2001, over 30 of his playscripts have been produced by professional and co-operative companies in Australia, the Philippines and the USA. In 2006 David completed a Writer’s Residency in Manila with Tanghalang Pilipino, the key government funded theatre company of the Philippines. His work has been nominated for the 2006 Max Afford National Playwrights Award and the 2005 Queensland Premier’s Literary Award. In 2009 David was commissioned by the Street Theatre to write Underage House Party Play for the Street’s 2010 season. He was a finalist in the 2008 National Poetry Slam, a delegate at the 2009 World Interplay Conference and his show Sun Drugs was nominated for Best Solo Show in the 2010 New Zealand Fringe Festival Awards. With science-theatre ensemble Boho David has devised, produced and toured interactive performances to festivals, theatres, schools and science conferences around the country. Boho’s Game Theory-based play A Prisoner’s Dilemma presented seasons nationally, including the 2007 Asia-Pacific Complex Systems Science Conference. In 2009 Boho produced Food for the Great Hungers, a performance exploring Australian history and complex systems science, in Australia’s Manning Clark House Cultural Centre. In 2010, Boho was co-commissioned by the Powerhouse Museum to produce and tour True Logic of the Future, an interactive science-fiction performance exploring issues of Climate and Global Change. Rachel Roberts: Rachel is an actor and creative living and working in Sydney,  NSW. Rachel is a graduate of the University of Wollongong (Bachelor of Creative Arts) and University of Notre Dame (Graduate Diploma of Education). Since graduating from UOW in 2009 she has been working in theatre (on stage and behind the scenes) and administration, as well as interning with version 1.0 in 2010 during their development of A Distressing Scenario at Downstairs Belvoir. Rachel was nominated to attend the National Youth Performing Arts Summit at St Martins Youth Arts Centre in Melbourne, to develop networks and skills. Rachel performed (and assisted director Lindsay Farris) in the National Youth Theatre Company’s flagship season of work, and has worked as a stage manager for several independent productions in Sydney. As a core member of Applespiel, an emerging artist collective, Rachel has developed new work to be performed at festivals nationally and internationally, including Snail Piece for the Festival of Dangerous Ideas, 500 Methods for a new beginning for Next Wave Festival, Make a Band and Take on the Recording Industry for Performance Space, and Executive Stress/Corporate Retreat for the 2011 Tiny Stadiums Festival. http://rachelroberts.com.au/about/ and http://applespiel.com/

Patrick Mcoy: Patrick is a filmmaker and performance maker from Sydney’s eastern suburbs. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Film Studies and Theatre and Performance Studies. He completed his honours year in Film Studies, writing his thesis on the workings of sound in the horror genre. Recently, Patrick has received accolades and international recognition for his short film work, in association with his collective GenQ. Their film ‘Unmade’, in which Patrick was the Director of Photography, premiered at the Kashish Mumbai International Film Festival. Another of their films ‘A Glimpse’ was awarded in the 48 Green Hours Film Competition hosted by the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta. In addition to his short film work, Patrick was performer and video artist in ‘Freshly Squeezed’ 2011, performing with the stagejuice performance collective at PACT Theatre. Patrick has also worked as a videographer for the theatre production ‘Bare Boards: Brave Heart’ collaborated by independent theatre company subtlenuance. Patrick’s experience as a performer ranges from musicals to performance art, and is particularly interested in hybrid performance

Nick Atkins: Nick is a hybrid performance and media maker who from time to time pops up in his own work. He graduated from UNSW with a BA Media, Theatre & Performance (Hons 1st Class) where he received the Cate Blanchett award for his new media performance Cyborgs are born, not made. He trained with the imPACT ensemble 09 performing in Public Bunnies in C# Minor (dir. Michal Imielski). Nick has continued to work with Imielski as a principal performer in the tour of Blind As You See It (Sydney Fringe, TINA), as well as a co-creator and performer on a new feature solo performance Unsex Me staged at the Riverside Theatre thanks to the centre’s True West initiative. He directed a new work ESCAPE [the beyond blank project] for the youth arts forum Flannofest2011. Nick has hosted the festival for the past two years now. On screen Nick has co-directed two new works Unmade (Kashish international film festival) and A Glimpse (finalist 48 Green Hours) with emerging production Studio Suss. He has recently returned from a three month working tour through Europe where he spent time as an artist in residence at the CAMAC Art Centre, Marnay Sur-Seine, France and completed the Pentales Hemmingway Writers Fellowship, Berlin. http://nicktimatkins.com/
